MAAA Road Running League 2015-6 Ta Qali

The MAAA road running league rolled on with the second 10k on the season’s calendar and yet another rewarding Sunday for Mellieha AC athletes.  In the men’s race Andrew Grech completed the course in 32:29 securing second place. Andrew`s performance was mirrored in the female category by Rita Galea who managed to snatch the second place with a time of 37:52.

Over 60 Mellieha AC athletes participated in last Sunday’s race with many registering excellent performances including a handsome number of personal bests. These impressive collective results led to Mellieha AC winning both the male and the female team events for the Ta’ Qali race. Indeed a great testament to the team spirit which is a core value to the club!
