Coaching

Clive Ferrante is an experienced and dedicated athletics coach with over 10 years of coaching experience, committed to helping runners of all abilities achieve their personal goals. He holds a Level 2 General Coaching Certification awarded by Semmelweis University in collaboration with the Maltese Olympic Committee, as well as a Level 2 Coaching Certification in Athletics from the World Athletics, reflecting his broad coaching expertise and commitment to continuous professional development.

Specialising in middle- and long-distance running, Clive designs structured training programmes tailored to each athlete’s ability, whether they are taking their first steps in running or preparing for competitive events. He places particular emphasis on supporting beginners as they adapt to training, while also guiding athletes safely through injury rehabilitation and helping them regain confidence as they return to competition.

As an accomplished runner himself, Clive has competed in 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, and 50K ultramarathon events. His first-hand experience gives him a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of endurance running, enabling him to provide practical, empathetic, and effective coaching.

Clive believes that successful coaching is built on trust, communication, and leading by example. By taking the time to understand each athlete’s strengths, challenges, and aspirations, he creates a positive and supportive training environment where runners can develop their potential, build confidence, and enjoy long-term success in the sport.
